The Learnery at Sierra 2 Center is a building in which many can go and take specific classes or workshops that feed their curiosity. The classes they offer can help sharpen skills and they claim that they can also enrich the community with interests most Sacramentans hold dear like art, food, wine, and gardening. Sierra 2 Center partners with local businesses and topic experts to provide interesting and relevant classes for all ages. While they host all of these amazing workshops and classes, they do require some funding every now and then. I was lucky enough to be asked to help create a fundraising banner for them so they could keep track of their fundraising.

The end product included a printed banner with name tag stickers for anyone who donated received. The stickers were meant to cover up the banner to signify the progression. Each name tag represented a $25 donation.

While this wasn’t a big project, it was still fun and an amazing experience.
